GENERAL DESCRIPTION &
APPLICATIONS
|
||||
PINEY RESIN EMULSION, containing
di-1-p-menthene with non-ionic surfactant in the form of a stable emulsion,
is a sticker-extender, non-ionic sticker, spreader designed to extend the
life of pesticides. At normal rates, dries rapidly, affords shower-protection
when touch dry, and rain protection approximately 30 minutes later. It forms
a flexible film on the surface of the plant, binding the pesticide and protecting
it from erosion by rain. At higher rates (1:10 to 1:40 of water), when
sprayed on plant leaves, is an anti-transpirant reducing moisture loss and
wilting during periods of stress, e.g. transplanting, drought, etc.
It is 100% organic and is
biodegradable, and it can be used on edible crops. A PINEY RESIN EMULSION
that is practically applicable as an antibacterial agent, fungicide or pest
repellant. There is provided a piney resin emulsion of 5 to 50 average
polymerization degree consisting of a polymer of piney compound having a
hydroxyl or formyl group and a carbon to carbon double bond, or a copolymer,
or hydrolyzate thereof, from the piney compound and a vinyl ester compound,
wherein when the piney resin emulsion is a copolymer, or hydrolyzate thereof,
from the piney compound and a vinyl ester compound, the copolymerization
ratio of piney compound and vinyl ester compound or vinyl alcohol is in the
range of 1:2 to 1:25 (molar ratio).
Functions
and Benefits :
Recommended for use with all
pesticide products and soluble fertilizers.
Forms a durable film that holds a
pesticide on the crop foliage.
Helps penetrate and spread
pesticides over foliage.
Prevents the removal of pesticides
from the leaf surface by wind and rainfall.
Reduces pesticide volatilization.
Screens the pesticide residue from
ultraviolet rays which often cause pesticide degradation.
Will not foam or clog nozzles.
Crop: Apples, Citrus, Corn, Cotton, Peanuts, Rice, Soybeans,
Tobacco, Vegetables, Wheat.
Application: Aerial or Ground
